Why Isn’t the Blender Turning On?

No Power in the Outlet: One reason a blender may not turn on is a lack of electricity in the outlet. If you plug in the blender and it doesn’t start, the first possibility to check is whether the outlet has power. You can test the outlet using a voltmeter. If the voltmeter needle does not move, it indicates that there is no electricity in the outlet.
Another method, instead of using a voltmeter or other measuring tools, is to plug in a different electrical device. If the second device also doesn’t turn on, the problem is with the outlet. If it does turn on, the issue lies with the blender itself.

Faulty Plug or Power Cord: In this case, you can first test the outlet and then plug the blender in. If there is no voltage at the blender’s power input, it indicates that the plug or power cord is faulty. To resolve this issue, the plug and power cord should be replaced.

Faulty Main Switch: Another common blender problem that can prevent it from turning on is a faulty main switch. If you have confirmed that the outlet, power cord, and plug are all functioning properly, the next step is to check the blender’s main switch. If the switch is defective, it should be repaired or replaced.

Burned-Out Motor: A burned-out or partially damaged motor is another common blender problem. If the blender is equipped with an overload protector, it can prevent the motor from burning out completely. Without this component, however, the motor may be completely damaged. Liquid Leakage from the Blender Jar

One factor that can cause liquids to leak from the blender jar is a damaged blender blade. Inside the blender jar, there is a hollow screw in which the blade is mounted. Over time and with prolonged use, if the blade wears down, it can cause liquids to leak from the jar. Since the blade shaft passes through this screw and eventually connects to the coupling, liquids can seep through the gaps and spill onto the coupling. In this case, the screw must be replaced.

Another cause of liquid leakage from the blender jar is a damaged gasket under the blade assembly. If the gasket or the nuts beneath the blade become worn or damaged for any reason, liquids will leak from the jar. If this happens, the gaskets should be inspected and replaced immediately.

Blade Deformation in the Blender: One problem that can occur during blender use is the deformation of the blades. If you use the blender to process hard ingredients such as ice or frozen foods, the blades may become bent or misshapen due to impacts. Deformed blades increase the risk of hitting the jar walls. To fix this issue, you can reshape the blades or manually rotate the blade shaft by hand.

Blender Not Properly Mixing Ingredients

Another issue that can occur when using a blender is insufficient chopping or mixing of ingredients. Sometimes the blender fails to properly break down or evenly blend the ingredients.
